Our dinnerware is designed to be durable for everyday family life, however it is still made using natural plant-based materials, so a little extra care will help it last beautifully for years to come.

Everyday Use

Some light scratching may appear over time when using stainless steel cutlery with pressure. This is because PLA is softer than stainless steel and does not contain a toxic protective coating.

For foods requiring heavy cutting pressure, we recommend using a chopping board to help preserve the surface of your dinnerware.

Our premium peel-and-stick prints are semi-permanent, giving you the flexibility to add fun while your children are little. When they're ready for a more timeless look, simply remove the print to reveal your classic white (Stone) dinnerware underneath.

All prints are made to order. Please allow 2–4 business days for production before dispatch.

What Are Our Decorative Prints Made From?

Our interchangeable designs are created using premium UV DTF (Direct-to-Film) transfer technology. Each design is printed with vibrant UV-cured inks onto a durable, waterproof clear film, creating a beautiful, slightly raised finish with exceptional detail that's made to handle everyday family life.

Care Instructions

Our Elavoland dinnerware is fully dishwasher safe.

The decorative UV DTF prints are also dishwasher safe. However, frequent dishwasher use, particularly on long or high-heat cycles, gradually weakens the adhesive over time. For best results, we recommend using the top rack on an eco or low-temperature cycle. To maximise the life of your design, hand washing decorated pieces is recommended whenever possible.

A Note on Our Prints

At Elavoland, transparency matters.

While our dinnerware is made from 90% plant-based PLA (derived from fermented corn) and 10% bamboo fibre, the interchangeable UV DTF decoration uses a thin polymer film to achieve its vibrant colours, durability, and removable design.

The print sits on the surface of the dinnerware and can be peeled away at any time, revealing the original plastic-free dinnerware underneath.
