OUR STORY
It all began with a simple question at the family dinner table: why is it so hard to find dinnerware that is beautiful, durable, and safe for everyday family life?
As a full-time working mum with young children, I wanted plates and bowls that could handle the chaos of mealtimes while still looking good and being made from materials I felt comfortable using.
So I decided to create something better.
Elavoland was born from a passion for thoughtful design, sustainability, and practical products that make family life easier. What started as a small idea has grown into a range of eco-conscious, family-friendly essentials designed for real homes and everyday living.

The name Elavo (El- La-Vo) comes from the Latin word for “to clean,” while land represents the place we all call home. Together, Elavoland means clean land-a vision of living with fewer harmful plastics and chemicals, and embracing a more natural way of life.

Wheat straw at a glance
When wheat is harvested, it leaves behind a stalk known as wheat straw - often treated as agricultural waste. Traditionally, farmers burn these stalks, releasing large amounts of pollution into the air.
By giving wheat straw a new life, we turn waste into something wonderful. When combined with high-quality, food-grade PP plastic (the same safe material used in food packaging), it becomes a durable yet compostable material that can even break down in your home compost.
