ECO FRIENDLY DINNERWARE

BEAUTIFULLY CLEAN LAND

The name Elavo comes from the Latin word for “to clean,” while land represents the place we all call home. Together, Elavoland means clean land—a vision of living with fewer harmful plastics and chemicals, and embracing a more natural way of life.

Each year, an estimated 14 million tons of plastic end up in our oceans - a number that shocked us into action. That’s why we created Elavoland: to design unique, reusable, and eco-friendly products that inspire Australians to care for our country. We’re proud supporters of both The Ocean Cleanup and The Reef Rescue Appeal, initiatives driving global change.

Our best-selling wheat straw plates and bowls are a perfect example of innovation meeting everyday family life. Made with 70% repurposed wheat straw (a byproduct of harvesting) and 30% high-quality food-safe PP plastic, they’re durable, lightweight, and safe from harmful chemicals like BPA or melamine. Unlike bamboo fibre, our blend can withstand high heat and daily family chaos - asting over five years while still feeling beautifully smooth with a waxy-soft touch.

Beyond tableware, our collection extends to eco-friendly homewares, skincare, unique candles, soaps, picnic and baby essentials, and natural technology like ozone-powered cleaning. Each piece is designed to help you cut out toxic chemicals, reduce plastic waste, and embrace a cleaner, more mindful way of living.

Our wall decals are made by Olivia Holtz Art based in her Sydney studio and also many of our handmade products.

The ocean is our life source, giving us oxygen for every second breath we take.

It shapes our way of life in Australia—our culture, our economy, our weekends by the beach. With over 85% of Australians living within 50 kilometres of the sea, protecting our oceans isn’t just a global issue—it’s part of who we are.

LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF

A woman smiling while holding a young boy with blonde hair and wearing a white shirt on a wooden balcony surrounded by green trees.

Hi, I’m Olivia—the founder of Elavoland.
Travel has always been my passion. I love exploring new places, whether it’s a weekend camping trip, a family caravan holiday, or a bigger adventure abroad. While I can’t pack up life and live on the road full-time (as tempting as it sounds!), I make the most of every trip—finding beauty in the small details and joy in everyday adventures.

Elavoland grew out of that same spirit: creating eco-friendly homewares that make life on the road, at the campsite, or at home, more beautiful, practical, and sustainable. I believe in products that work hard for families, tread lightly on the planet, and bring a spark of joy to the everyday.

I travel with my husband Rob, our two boys Tom and John, and often with my sister and parents too—it’s always a family affair. If you’d like to follow along with our adventures and little escapes, come say hi over on Instagram @travelandescapades or YouTube @travelandescapades4064.
