LETS TALK ABOUT OZONE OILS
Avocado Oil is very easy to absorb and when infused with ozone it is oxygen-rich and may improve the appearance, beauty and suppleness of your skin. It may be useful for minor skin irritations, dry skin and the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, age spots and blemishes.
Humectant properties keep avocado oil from drying as fast as many other oils, so the effects can last longer. Natural healers recommend it for a variety of issues.
Ozonated avocado oil boosts in skin collagen production to promote a soft youthful skin while delaying aging. Collagen is the main protein found in skin. It’s what binds, strengthens and elasticises skin; and without collagen, skin becomes wrinkly, saggy and droopy. Ozone plumps up skin with activated oxygen, also paired with avocado oil this stimulates the production of connective tissues and new skin cell growth.
Powerful anti-inflammatory compounds promote skin elasticity to delay wrinkles, heal skin conditions including psoriasis, dry skin and sunburn.
OZONE OILS STRENGHT
Oils with a higher percentage of fatty acids typically hold more ozone. For example, ozonated hemp oil has a lot of 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids so it holds the most ozone out of all the oils. Ozonated olive oil has very little omega 3s and 6s but lots of omega 9s, putting it in the middle as far as strength.
Keep in mind that just because one oil holds more ozone, that doesn’t necessarily make it better. You also have to look at how well the oil absorbs and how it interacts with your particular skin type. For instance, ozonated avacado oil absorbs very well but ozonated hemp oil does not. Ozonated jojoba oil and ozonated coconut oil are on the lower end of the ozone spectrum, making them especially popular for beauty applications and for those with sensitive skin.
Each oil has a different amount of 3, 6, and 9 fatty acids and each fatty acid is weighed differently for the formula. The final number is called the Potential Ozonide Index (POI). See the formula and chart below.
Omega 3s (x3) + Omega 6s (x2) + Omega 9s (x1) = POI
